Facing the music.

I'm about ready to head out the door to WW but wanted to check in here first.

"Facing the music" probably isn't the best way of putting it. It's not like I've done anything bad, or that I feel guilty for. I've gone through absolute hell the last little while, and I got through it the best way I knew how. Unfortunately, that meant numbing myself with vast amounts of food, and sliding backwards on the weight loss. Maybe next time I get hit by an avalanche, I'll have other coping skills in place. But I'm still here, and that's all that matters.

Now, if I'd given in to the intense temptation to quit -- THAT would have been bad.
