Worried about a time-crunch before my drivers' ed test (and subsequent official road test) tomorrow morning, I drove out to the WW meeting this morning. Again, I couldn't stay because Doug needed to get to work, but, as I reminded him, this might well be the last time he has to go with me. :)
The weigh-in was everything I could have hoped for. I did not want to hit the 28-pound off mark today, as it's my WW 10% award mark and I wanted to do it when I could stay at my own meeting. So seeing that scale come within 0.2 lbs of that 10% was absolutely perfect. Unless something drastically goes wrong this week, I should get it next Saturday. To lose 10% of my body weight in about three months is impressive even to me. (My personal big milestone will be when I cross into the 240s, boldly going where I have not gone before.)
In other news, my cold is on the way out. Not completely gone, but much better than it was, so I'm happy. It shouldn't interfere with my road test tomorrow at all.
Life is good. :)
