Okay, folks -- I'm off to the hospital. I'm quite nervous but I'm sure that once I get this over with, I'll be a much happier camper.
I expect to be back by suppertime tonight, as this is just what they call "extended day surgery". If I'm not doing as well as they'd like, they'll send me to the other hospital via ambulance for an overnight stay. And if, of course, they can't do it laparascopically, I'll be moved to the other hospital where I'll be stuck for a week.
