On Sunday, I found out that a good friend of mine had passed away. I took Monday off from work to absorb this, and then after a very long day at work (and a trip to the gym) on Tuesday I came home to discover a message on my computer: "Back-up your files now. Hard disk failure imminent." Hubby (the best computer tech in town) told me he would try to transfer my files to the new hard drive, but he was not optimistic.
Unable to register my supper into my software, and feeling very stressed out, and unable to amuse myself with my computer as I usually do when the Eating Machine rears its ugly head, I hit the kitchen. Many, many times. Thankfully, I'd been to the gym, which bought me a little leeway, and thankfully most of the stuff in the house is fairly "safe". But I still consumed fifteen points' worth before heading off to bed. Bye-bye, Flexpoints for the week.
But all was not lost. The computer turned out okay with a minimal loss of files, and even though I'd gone totally nuts in the kitchen, I still didn't consume more calories than I burned that day (but it was close!).
Things are much better now. :)
