For those who may be wondering, I scored a 93% on yesterday's drivers ed test. One more two-hour lesson, one more one-hour test, and drivers ed is finished. We are tentatively scheduling my "real" road test for October 29. He said that I've got most driving things down pat, and should now concentrate on parking. I'm still not great at perpendicular, and the parallel parking is making me crazy. It's like swimming -- I know how to do it, intellectually, but can't seem to make it happen in the physical world.
Speaking of physical worlds ... Things are still moving right along. I told Doug this morning that losing ten pounds is nothing when you start at almost 300. But we've gotten to the point where I know we're well past the "water weight" quick loss. This is the real deal now -- that fat is going. And I can't tell you how happy I am about it.
This time, I'm not "trying". This time, I'm DOING.
I am relentless.
And I need breakfast.
