WW Weigh-In: Week 14 -- 255.2 lbs (1.6 down this week; 34.0 total)

I'm glad to still be losing. I wasn't sure how going to the gym would affect things.

At today's meeting, we talked about it being five weeks to Christmas Eve. We set individual goals, and each week we'll be determining a stepping-stone to help us get there. I have decided that, now that I've got the food intake to the point where it's almost an automatic process for me, I would like the exercise to become the same way -- a habit, rather than something I'm dragging myself -- kicking and screaming -- to do.

So my stepping-stone for this week is to get to my circuit-training studio three times before my next WW meeting. I've realized that, once I get home, there's no way I want to drag myself out to the gym again. So I went today, immediately after WW, and I'm going to take my gym gear when I leave for work Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so I can go on my way home.

I can't believe I'm about to say this, but going to that place is almost fun. I'm aiming for 2 circuits, but once again, I got dizzy towards the 1.5 mark, so I stopped. I did the heart rate check this time when The Voice From the Ceiling said to, and I was working in the 70-80% range, so that's good. The dizziness concerns me, but I think it might just be that I'm not used to doing this. If, after a week or so, it's still happening, I'll go chat with the doctor.

One really nice thing that happened at the WW meeting today was that someone I knew from WW a few years ago came over to say hello. She had just joined our group a couple of weeks ago. It was so nice to see her! She also updated me on an old friend I hadn't seen in years and was literally thinking last night that I wished I could drop her a line. Mysterious ways, I tell you.

Anyway, time for lunch. Afterwards, I think I might take Pepsi (my dog) out to the Nature Park for a walk, since I have to run an errand out that way anyway. It'll make her day. :)
