Today is the start of my fourth month as the new me. I'll take my measurements when I get home tonight, but the scale was down a bit this morning. I'm averaging about ten pounds a month, which I think is about where I want to be. My winter medications seem to be having no adverse effects on my weight loss, and people are really starting to notice the change in me. I feel lighter, more energetic, than I did at the beginning -- that's for sure! Still undecided about the weight training studio, but that's mostly for financial reasons. There may be something starting up at school that I can take part in. Part of me would rather die than have the kids see me working out, but the rest of me thinks that I'm in an ideal position to set a good example. I don't know. We'll see.
In the meantime, here we are -- probably about a month (about ten pounds) to go before I enter "uncharted waters" in my weight loss odyssey.
Thanks for helping me get this far.
