It's almost 8:30 at night, I have 4 points left, and I'm guzzling water like a madwoman. I will most likely be up all night as a result of my efforts. And I don't know what to do with those four points.
Day One at School went well. I was teaching English, which I truly enjoy. In a lot of ways, I don't have to think about teaching English because a lot of it is instinct. Not like math, where I'm desperately trying to remember how to do things, if, in fact, I ever knew.
Program-wise, I didn't get much water in today (probably a subconscious fear of not getting to the bathroom) so I'm playing catch-up now. I wasn't hungry all morning, like I was afraid I'd be, and lunch was fine. Dad was distracted by funerals and didn't comment on it (thank you thank you thank you) and the only person who did notice my lunch (because it wasn't greasy and didn't come from the cafeteria as usual) was a very good friend who knows me enough to know that if I want to tell him, I will. And I only realized I hadn't gone near the cafeteria when I sat down to write this update.
Challenge for tomorrow: Figure out this water problem. Other than that, today went well. I am pleased, and confident that there shouldn't be too much of a problem keeping on track. I seem to have brought my determination into the school with me -- perhaps in my bright yellow lunch bag.

An Unrestrainable Mini-rant: Jenn posted a comment about how someone was taunting her with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I don't know how strong the "taunting" was, but I've seen people wave things deliberately under my nose. I felt like spitting on it.
But do you know what I get really, REALLY angry about? It's those people who, after you've *already politely refused* something, say, "Oh, just this once won't hurt you", or "You're being anti-social -- eat a piece of her birthday cake". Although, in some ways, people are possibly trying to be "nice", I have a question for them: If you were talking to a recovering alcoholic, would you try to pour booze down his throat?! HELLO?!
Okay, I feel better now. Thank you. :)
