It's a sunny Saturday, and I'm glad. As much as I love the fog this city is often shrouded in, a little sun can be a beautiful thing.
So, yesterday was one of those days that I was glad there was no one around with a camera. You remember that yoga ball that I bought that I said was too small? I now suspect that it's just seriously under-inflated. What brought me to this conclusion? The fact that I sat on it yesterday and pretty much went straight to the floor! (The dog laughed, I swear.)
Jenn and her mom are picking me up to go to WW in about 50 minutes. I'm glad, because I'm hungry, but I don't want my breakfast to show on the scale. So I'm waiting to eat until after weigh-in. This may sound crazy to those of you who have never been fixated by the thought of a 5-lb loss sticker, but, believe me, I'm all about those stickers. Something tangible that says "FIVE GONE!" is a precious, precious thing! And if you think postponing breakfast until after weigh-in is a little extreme, I won't further shock you with the tales of food intake acrobatics from when I had an evening weigh-in!
This morning, Frank was (in case you're wondering) the same as yesterday. It's probably starting to slow down now, as I expected, with the water weight gone. Sometime this week should be the beginnng of "puffy time", so it'll be interesting to see what that looks like on the scale. In keeping with tradition, it will probably show up on Thursday. :)
Time to go pack my breakfast. Something portable and non-messy. This could be a challenge.
